Peter Francis Bird

Peter Francis Bird was born on 11 March 1917 in Croydon, Surrey; the 1921 census finds the family at 29 Milner Road, Thornton Heath, and in 1939 he was living in Wimbledon. He married Letty Zlata Schmidt, and they had two daughters, Karin Elizabeth and Kristina Dianne. By 1960 the family lived in San Jose, California, and Peter was naturalised in San Francisco on 23 June 1964. He died in Santa Clara on 9 May 1990.
